I ordered it 'unseen' based on the impressive detail on your website and the many enthusiastic reports of users in the edrumming.com forum. You've probably been told this many times but I just thought I would say what a totally wonderful kit ! I've been playing drums for over 30 years and this new kit brings back that feeling of my first pro-quality kit - but this time round I've got better than acoustic playability, stunning looks and top class triggering. I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for making a great product available, and share how the decision to purchase the Prodigy has had a major impact on my life. I learned to play drums through my involvement in my local church about 15 years ago. I played in church and in a couple of small-time bands over the years. Later I got married, had a couple of children, moved to a small house, and found that I just didn't have the time or the space to play anymore. So, I sold my accoustic kit to my church at a very low price. I later realised that I may never have the money to buy an acoustic kit again. As a result, I didn't play for a number of years, but knew deep down that I was missing something. I had purchased a DM5 a few years ago, but was never able to obtain a trigger kit here in New Zealand. Then, last year, I came across your web site. I saved and purchased what I consider to be a great value kit, the Prodigy kit. The idea was that I could use it with my DM5 so that I could at least practice at home with headphones on. A year later, I am playing with a 4-pc originals band, using the Prodigy at every gig. Every time I play, people marvel at the Prodigy kit, remarking that they have never seen anything like it. So here I am, back enjoying making music, and it's all pretty much down to you guys. I am sure that if I hadn't found Hart Dynamics, I would not be doing what I love. So, again, thank you for making a great kit available at a price that even I could afford, and for taking the effort to ship it all the way to New Zealand.

Just saying thanks for a great product, for helping out in the past and for updating the module info! I hadn't checked it for several months and had an OK setup w/ my Pro drums and Expanded TD-10. I heard you had a chart now that included the EXP 10 settings.. and they work absolutely perfectly!!! Guess that'll teach me to keep checking your website! Thanks again!

Just got my Prodigy and set it up with my TD-6...all I can say is...Jesus Christ! This thing is great! I was VERY skeptical when it came to getting some e-drums. But Hart has definitely proved me wrong. Thanks for the help! And the kickin' product!!

Well I've got my Prodigy kit, and I felt I had to e-mail you and say what a GREAT kit this is, especially for the $$$$. I've had used Simmons kits, and a new Yamahaha DTX Xpress kit, but this is way better, and feels wonderful. The Yamaha kit especially had my wrists hurting every time I played it, but yours feels great!!! Thanx again. Great kit!! When I was working at the Only Guitar Shop in Clifton Pk, NY in 2002 I was trying to get the owner to look into your stuff, but he was much too much of a Roland/Yamahaha suckup. But I will go in there and tell the current drum guy how much I like my kit, as well as every other local dealer. Thanx!!!

I've recently purchased a Studiomaster 6.4 kit and have to let you know how great they are. To give you a little background (I'll try to keep it short) I'm having a bit of a mid life crisis (turning 40 soon) & have always been frustrated playing drums. I started out in the school marching band at 5 years old & it seemed that practice was only allowed when no one was home. Otherwise there was the proverbial knock on the door with a "I have homework to do", or later "the kids are sleeping". I'm sure you can see what I'm getting at. The kit arrived St. Patty's Day & I've played more drums in 3 days than I have in the last 6 months. I cannot thank you & your associates enough for such great drums to play. Right out of the box it was like a party.

I recently purchased a prodigy kit and am extremely happy with it. Want to know what upgrades can be done with this kit with the Alesis DM5 module. Thank You Hart Dynamics- I purchased a Hart Prodigy kit with an Alesis DM5 module about a year ago and I love it. The head response is quick and feels great. My only complaint is, I should have purchased a bigger set.... I will be purchasing all future gear from Hart. Thanks again for making a quality set at an affordable price.

Hi Mr. Hart. My name is Jon and play drums for the hard rock band, Court Jester. I am sending this to you to tell you how impressive your products are. I have some older Roland electronic drums and a TD-5 module and am looking to step up to the next level. I have been researching the Hart products and have to tell you they are hands down the best looking electronic drums I have ever seen or played.
All the reviews say that they sound and feel the best and the sample videos on your site are impressive to say the least. I also enjoyed your essay on the Hart history.
I currently have some of your Ecymbal products now and after seeing the Hart Pro Line I do not think I could stand to have any other electronic drums in front of me. The 5.3 and 6.4 kits look superb and with a TD-8 or TD-10...well that would just be awesome!
My band, Court Jester, has just released a new CD that will be distributed by Harvest Media into the major chains starting in January and we also recently finished our first music video for the first single "Stand Up." Now in the works are 3 more videos (including one being directed by a known Hollywood director) and a feature length movie about the band in the vein of "Spinal Tap." It would be my absolute honor to sit behind one of your kits at our shows, videos, and movie.

Just wanted to drop a line and tell you how impressed i was with my new (Hart) Pro 6.4 kit I just got this week. I bought it from a dealer online, without ever seeing one of these kits in person. It was a big risk for me to spend that much money, without ever seeing or playing this kit myself. But I was ammazed when I got this kit set up, and played it for the first time. It was way more than I expected!! So for anyone who is even thinking of a new electric kit, Hart is the way to go!! Thanks for everything.

Forgive my dilatory response to your last missive, but I've been too busy playing my new Hart Dynamics GigaPro to respond. Thanks so much for all of your advice on expansion options. I've got a good idea of the next directions to go in as time (and funds!) permit. It's difficult to find the vernacular to sufficiently express my vivid astonishment toward such a product. I've played for nearly thirty years, on all kinds of acoustic sets in lots of different environments, and I'm not usually one at a loss for words, but the GigaPro is everything and so much more. I was reluctant to turn toward 'electronics', being by nature somewhat of a Luddite, but I found myself wishing for an anytime set with due consideration for the rest of the neighbourhood. I wanted an acoustic set that I could play through headphones. Boy, did you fellows give me a lot more! The kit is real in every sense of the word, and as aesthetically appealing to an audience as any traditional kit. But in the actual playing is where I'm really taken aback. The response, the 'bounce', from the heads that keep a drummer's inertia and momentum going in fluid dynamic is the most surprising. Speed is (almost) effortless. Those that I routinely play with are at least as surprised and pleased as I am. My new drums are the biggest eye-opener I've seen in many years. A simple, "Thank you!" seems too little to offer, but I don't know what else to say. When I play along with songs like Rush: Earthshine, or Jethro Tull: Hunting Girl, I can't actually believe I'm really doing this!
You guys are great, and I'm glad I found you. I hope every other drummer on earth does the same....

I bought a pair of your ECYMBALS a few years ago after my Roland pads started to self-destruct. Your cymbals were cheap compared to the replacement Roland trash so I thought I would give them a try. I having been beating the crap out of them ever since and they sound and look as good as the day I bought them. Thanks for making a great product at a resonable price that can actually take a real drummer's abuse!
