ALESIS MODULE SETTINGS

DMPro
The Alesis DMPro is not supported due to multiple software/hardware versions and dependability issues. If you are having triggering problems with any Hart Electracoustic® Percussion Product being used with the DMPro, please attempt to test the Product with another drum module. HDI does not repair Alesis modules. If you need additional assistance with an Alesis DMPro Module please contact Alesis.

D4/DM5
The Alesis D4 and DM5 are virtually identical except for their sound sets. The D4 has 16 bit "acoustic" style sounds while the DM5 has 18 bit "processed" and "techno" sounds. All trigger interface settings are identical. Both of these modules have excellent and easy to use trigger parameter settings. Either of these modules are an excellent choice for use with our Prodigy Drumset. The Prodigy set is designed for plug 'n play operation with factory trigger settings for both modules. Experienced players may want to utilize our advanced settings below. Although the D4 is discontinued there are plenty of them available and it is a great inexpensive module.

RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS
(REINITIALIZE)

To restore all factory settings, turn unit off, then simply hold down the VOICE and OUTPUT buttons simultaneously while powering up the module. You will see the screen read "reinitializing" and it will continue to cycle through initialization until you release the VOICE and OUTPUT buttons. You may want to set the gain on each pad to suit your playing style, and for optimun dynamics, set all v-curves to 1.
