Hart Dynamics has been researching and developing alternative drum head technologies since the early '90's. Hart Dynamics Kontrol Screen "mesh" heads represent the most revolutionary development in drum head technology since animal skins were replaced by polymer films. We believe you will find our Kontrol Screen drum heads to be as close to their mylar (acoustic drum head) counterparts as it comes. Our new KS MAGNUM and MAXXUM heads represent the "next generation" of "mesh" drum head technology. Manufactured by Aquarian U.S.A. exclusively for HDI using Hart Dynamics proprietary material and specifications, these heads feature incredible feel, extreme durability, and virtually silent operation. Heads are available in 6"-24" and are custom designed to ensure proper fit on all acoustic and electronic drums. Now you can practice on and "trigger" from your acoustic drum set without the excessive volume of acoustic drums. Our KS MAGNUM and MAXXUM heads also allow you to replace the heads on your electronic drums for unsurpassed feel, sensitivity, dynamics and durability.


KS MAGNUM HEADS

Heavy-duty mesh for those who prefer the feel and suppressed resonance of a two ply head. "Wet" softer feel and best suited for low to medium-high tension. Recommended for use on tom's, but can be used on any drum. Excellent for quiet acoustic drum practice, triggering, or replacement head for all mesh headed electronic drums. Very durable and quiet.


KS MAXXUM HEADS
Heavy-duty mesh for those who prefer the feel and resonance of a single ply head. "Dry" crisp, feel and best suited for low to extremely high tension. Recommended for use on Snare and Bass drums, but can be used on any drum. Excellent for quiet acoustic drum practice, triggering, or replacement head for all mesh headed electronic drums. Extremely durable and quiet.
